Spacious room with a convenient layout, great for families. Loved the location near attractions and subway access. Twice they forgot to restock towels, which was a hassle. Bicycle rentals nearby gave us a fun way to explore the area.

The location is fantastic and the rooms are spacious. We enjoyed the bicycle rental service for exploring the area. The staff, though, were often unhelpful and dismissive when we needed assistance. Could have been cleaner in some areas.

The hotel is ideally located next to the NYPD, which screams safety in a chaotic city. My spacious room catered perfectly for our family of six, and housekeeping kept it tidy daily.
The breakfast was a disappointing 'grab and go' ordeal.

We hit up Radio City Music Hall and jammed out like rockstars. The location was so clutch, close to all the hotspots and easy to get to. The rooms were mega comfy for our squad of friends, with plenty of space and chill vibes.
Would have been lit if there was a rooftop terrace for late-night hangouts with epic views.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Penn Station, making it convenient for travel. The in-house Gastro Bar offers great food options. the check-in process was slow, and room amenities, like wash cloths and towel supply, could use enhancement.

The room was perfect for us with two queens and bunk beds for the kids to share. Housekeeping did a great job every day, we came back to a clean room after long days out.
It wasn't cheap, but it was worth it.

Good location near attractions like Starbucks and Macy's. The room was large, with comfortable beds and excellent views. Friendly staff, particularly the overworked front desk clerk who handled our late-night noise issue with grace. there were significant drawbacks. The room had maintenance issues: water stains, poor shower pressure, and insufficient toiletries for a family. Check-in was efficient, but the receptionist lacked warmth and information. While it’s a decent place to crash, the cold decor and occasional unpleasant odors detract from the experience. Ultimately, it serves its purpose, but better customer service and attention to detail are necessary for a more enjoyable stay.

I loved the family room—it was perfect for all five of us! The bunk beds were a hit with the kids, and the double bathroom made mornings a breeze. Getting around was super easy with a subway station just a short walk away!

The spacious family suite comfortably accommodated all of us, with separate beds for our teenagers.
My wife says that having the bunk beds in the back room would provide better safety for families with children.

The room was spacious enough for six people, which was a definite plus. It was modern and clean, although there were some issues. We noticed mold on the wallpaper and the air conditioning didn't work properly upon arrival. It was uncomfortable at 84 degrees. Maintenance was slow, and the staff’s response was lacking. The bathroom was updated and clean, but amenities for five guests were not sufficiently supplied. Despite these setbacks, the location was convenient, close to Starbucks and the subway. The comfortable beds helped us rest after long days exploring.

Walking distance to key attractions like Madison Square Garden, Broadway shows, and Times Square. Subway entrance just a minute away for easy travel. Fair pricing with a sleeper sofa providing ample sleeping space for everyone.
Poor communication from staff regarding power and water outages. Malfunctioning elevators causing long waits and disrupted sleep.

It was great to have the option to freshen up our clothes when needed. we did struggle with the heating and air conditioning in our room. It was quite difficult to find a comfortable temperature, and it took some time to adjust it properly. The room did have tea and coffee facilities, which we appreciated for our morning pick-me-up. We also enjoyed the free Wi-Fi in the rooms, making it easy to stay connected during our stay. One area that could use improvement is the cleanliness of the terrace. It was a bit dirty and could use some attention. we noticed that there were no free toiletries provided in the bathroom, which was a bit disappointing. Despite these shortcomings, we did enjoy the presence of an AM/FM alarm clock in the room, as well as a flat-screen TV for some entertainment. The parquet floor gave the room a nice touch. We also found the room service to be prompt and efficient, which was a plus. we experienced some issues with car hire services and had to wait longer than expected. while our stay at Tryp had its ups and downs, we appreciated the effort of the housekeeping staff in keeping our room clean and tidy. Laundry and dry cleaning services were also available, which was convenient for us.

The lively area with its diverse eateries and bars was a blast to explore. The eclectic décor and high ceilings made me feel like I was in a cool movie scene. The gym equipment in the fitness rooms made me laugh; working out has never been so fun!
Oh, what a joy it was to admire the mold spots in the shower and the well-worn furnishings.

Our family had an amazing first night at this hotel! The location was perfect, just a short walk to Times Square and Madison Square Garden. The room was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed, including free Wi-Fi. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We loved the bar with its daily specials and the option for breakfast within the hotel. The hotel's proximity to Penn Station was also a major plus. Stayed at Tryp for 3 nights and it was faultless. the spacious rooms, comfortable bed, and convenient on-site restaurant and bar made my stay enjoyable. the location, between 8th and 9th Avenues on 35th Street, was perfect for sightseeing, with easy access to public transportation. Despite the bustling area, the hotel offered a relatively quiet stay, and the wooden floors added to the clean and spacious feel of the room.

the room was modern and clean, and the location was great - close to many attractions. we got great insights from the hotel staff - especially john - who was super helpful. also, the hotel offers a small gym - an excellent service.
